JINAN, China, September 22, 2025 — Shandong Shenghé Power Engineering Co., Ltd. has secured a series of large-scale Energy Storage System (ESS) design contracts in provinces like Gansu and Inner Mongolia, marking significant progress in the domestic energy storage market.
Key Highlights:
Technical Expertise: The company specializes in containerized Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) battery solutions, integrating advanced BMS and EMS. A recently completed 150MWh project maintains operating efficiency of over 89% and uses AI algorithms to extend system lifespan by more than 15%.
Project Progress: Key projects include a 200MW/400MWh grid-side ESS in Jiuquan, Gansu, and a 100MW/200MWh project in Ulanqab, Inner Mongolia, which utilizes liquid cooling for stable operation in extreme cold.
R&D Collaboration: The company has jointly established laboratories with universities such as Tsinghua University, Shandong University, and Shandong Jianzhu University, and has mutual research project cooperation, focusing on cutting-edge technologies such as long-duration energy storage.
Shandong Shenghe Electric Power Engineering a national high-tech enterprise established in 2005, has a cumulative designed energy storage capacity of over 1GWh and has obtained more than 200 related patents.
