Recently, the rooftop distributed photovoltaic power generation project at Guodian Luanhe Power Plant, constructed by SHPEDI, was successfully connected to the grid, adding a new chapter to the development of green energy!

The project site is located within Guodian Luanhe Power Plant in Shuangluan District, Chengde City, Hebei Province. This large-scale rooftop distributed building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) power generation project has a total installed capacity of approximately 4,688.2 kilowatt-peak (kWP). It fully utilizes the rooftop space of two coal sheds within the power plant, equipped with 550Wp BIPV modules to achieve efficient utilization of clean energy without occupying additional land resources. The project is designed to operate for 25 years, providing stable long-term energy supply.
The technical solution of the project is advanced and highly efficient, adopting a grid-connection mode of "self-consumption with surplus power fed into the grid." The project is equipped with two power generation units:
#1 Photovoltaic Power Generation Unit: Composed of 8 units of 320 kW inverters and a 2,500 kVA pad-mounted transformer.
#2 Photovoltaic Power Generation Unit: Composed of 4 units of 320 kW inverters and a 1,250 kVA pad-mounted transformer.
The two step-up pad-mounted transformers of the photovoltaic power station are connected to the PV grid-connection cabinet via cables, and then linked to the 6kV busbar in the 6kV switchgear room through a bus bridge, ensuring smooth integration into the plant's power grid and stable, efficient power transmission and utilization.
